Burundi Yandaro – Washed Red Bourbon
Sweet, Syrupy, and Elegantly Spiced.
This beautiful lot comes from Yandaro Washing Station in the Kayanza Province, one of Burundi’s most respected coffee-producing regions. Farmers in the surrounding hills deliver freshly picked cherries to Yandaro, where they’re carefully hand-sorted, floated, and washed using traditional East African methods.
You’ll find a silky body with golden syrup sweetness, balanced by the freshness of red apple and orange peel, finishing with notes of stewed apricot and a hint of spice.
A fantastic daily filter or press brew, but also shines as a clean and elegant espresso.
