From the lush hills of Chikmagalur, this lot comes from Ashok and Divya Patre’s Ratnagiri Estate  one of India’s most forward-thinking coffee farms. Ratnagiri, meaning Pearl Mountain, sits at 1,340 meters above sea level, surrounded by a lush biodiversity that gives its coffees a rare sweetness and depth.

The Chandragiri variety is carefully harvested and processed using a washed method that balances clarity with body. After a precise fermentation and gentle drying in dark rooms for 14 days, the result is a cup that’s clean, silky, and layered  offering hints of stone fruit, cocoa nibs, and raw honey.

This coffee reflects Mr. Patre’s deep understanding of India’s terroir and his commitment to innovation. Every detail, from fermentation control to slow drying, is guided by intention  a true expression of The Art of Slow Brew.
